Tiny gaming update

I have been neglecting games quite a bit lately, nothing catches my interest for some reason… However, there is one particular game I am playing at the moment though, Harvest Moon: Sunshine Island sparkle3 . I think this is the third time I’m actually playing a HM game properly without cheats or give up after 2 days, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (PS1) and Harvest Moon DS Cute being the first two. But honestly, I’ve played enough games in this series to understand how tedious it’s supposed to be. So why am I playing this then… other die-hard fans can probably guess: 1) it’s a Harvest Moon game; and 2) Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar is going to be released in less than a week! The latter is my main reason for playing this, although the two games are not related story-wise (in contrast to HM:IoH and HM:SI); but because HM:GB is coming out, I need a little warm up. ^v^

My general impression of the game so far? I like it. Instead of just tedious farming, I really adore the addition of Sun Stones in the game. It’s practically the sole reason why I am actually interacting with the villagers – of course, other than courting my favorite dude (*ahem*Will, anyone?) The characters are simply adorable too, I mean just LOOK at Eliza, she may be narcissistic, but you have to admit she’s pretty damn cute. (Haha, yes I love cute games what more can I say. ;P )

( HM:SI rant )

I still have not pre-ordered my copy of Grand Bazaar, shall do it asap. I wonder if I’ll still get the bonus item (horse plushie)… I hope so lol, it’s so adorable! s2

Back from Europe!

It was really tiring, but worth it. Went to Paris and London for about a bit over a week, came back on Saturday night. It was my first time going to a continent other than Asia or North America haha, definitely a whole new level of experience for me! Went together with family. We decided to go there on our own since tour groups usually have super tight schedules and a ton of time spent on the road instead of at destinations. I think travelling on our own gave us a chance to immerse ourselves in their culture, I mean we walked around either on foot or with their public transit, no one was there to guide us (except when we asked random people on the streets for the way). Heck, when we were in London, we didn’t even have a city map. I THOUGHT the google map on my blackberry would work, but most of the time it couldn’t even find a satellite. In the end we just gave up and only used the tube/bus maps as guide haha. GREAT EXPERIENCE! I dunno if I can find time to post up pictures, but if I do I’ll definitely put an update here first. ;)

Recently I have been re-reading some Chinese internet novels, last time I read these was back in highschool. Sure brings back memories… I remember staying up all night reading these books, tearing up every time. Haha good times…

This is a preview of Back from Europe!.
